Remembering America's War Veterans

When you cannot make up your mind which of two evenly balanced courses of action you should take -- choose the bolder.

A Dedication Page
to the Men and Women that Have Served the USA

From the first patriots of the US to sign the Declaration of Independance, to the young, elite recruits being sent to the Middle East, millions upon millions of men and women have gone to the extreme for the United States.
This page is dedicated to these brave souls whom are well deserving of recognition and remembrance.

The Concern

For my ninth grade semester project, I have decided to express my concern of the need for additional recognition due our war veterans. I've decided to address my concern through two actions. On this Memorial Day, May 31, 1999, I will have attended some of Naperville, Illinois's Memorial Day services. These services include the 8 am Flag Raising at City Hall, the 8:30 ceremonies at Veterans' Park, the ceremonies at the WW1 Memorial in Burlington Park, and the parade in Downtown Naperville.

I have set up this page as a database for Naperville's events this Monday, May 31, 1999. I am also using this page as a tool to help you better understand the need for recognition of our veterans of foreign wars.
